The Institut for Informatics and Statistics publishes all the results of the statistical research, as the official statistical data, in its publications, such as The Statistical Yearbook of Serbia as well as statistical communications.
Apart from regular publications, the Office for Informatics and Statistics also publishes special publications concerning the millennium goals or International dates and events.

Statistical Yearbook of Belgrade 2006

Statistical Yearbook of Belgrade is the principal publication of the Institute for Informatics and Statistics offering official statistical data for the City of Belgrade. Statistical Yearbook contains data according to the Program of Statistical Surveys. The data are processed applying methodologies, so that are comparable with appropriate data published for the level of the Republic of Serbia. Besides data from the Program, the Statistical Yearbook contains additional data necessary for observing life and working conditions in Belgrade as the centre with considerable agglomeration of population, and economic and non-economic activities. The additional data refer especially to quality of environment, activity of public community enterprises, business space etc. Data in the Yearbook refer to the territory of the City of Belgrade, as well to the City Proper and the communes, according to the law legislation pertaining the territorial organization of the City. Data referring to the City of Belgrade are given without a particular denotation whilst for the City Proper is denoted that they refer to that part of the City territory. The Institute for Informatics and Statistics will be grateful for all remarks contributing to a further improvement of the content, way of presenting data and translation of the Statistical Yearbook of Belgrade.

The publication Belgrade in Figures is performed with desire to make more accessible the data of Belgrade in the most frequent use, especially those relating to everyday community life. The data sources are regular statistical researches and the Census of Population 2002. Beside collected by statistics, the presented data are gained from the public utility enterprises and the relevant bodies of the City government. The publication Belgrade in figures appeared with a wish to make more accessible the most wanted data of Belgrade. For this occasion we are representing the data for the year 2006, for which all the statistical surveys are finished. If particular data, which are included in this publication for their significance, are related to some of the previous years, that is because they are not collected every year. If we succeeded it interest you in more detailed data review, we are allowed to place our publications Statistical yearbook of Belgrade and Statistical reports. Data sources for this publication are regular statistic surveys and Census 2002. Also the data of public services City Department of protection of the environment, City Department of transportation, Republic weather bureau, The Business Registers Agency and other.

Handicapped persons in Belgrade

Publication ‘handicapped persons in Belgrade’ appeared as a result of special statistical survey for year 2006, which the institute for informatics and statistics preformed in a period January- February 2006. At the same time, this publication presents contribution of the institute for informatics and statistics to efforts which Belgrade gives for improving position and quality of life for handicapped persons. The basic motive for making this publication was a fact that high-quality and total data of problems of handicapped persons don’t exist, collected in one place and with the same grade of comparison.
